MINERAL RIDGE-There will be a Memorial Mass celebrated Monday at 11:00 AM at St. George Byzantine Catholic Church in Youngstown for Steve John Serbati 54, who passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at his residence.
Steve was born May 31, 1955 in Youngstown, the son of John and Anna Marie Miller Serbati.
He was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High class of 1974. He was owner and operator of Mahoning Valley Contracting for 25 years. An avid hunter and fisherman his whole life, he belonged to the North American Hunting Association and various other professional organizations.
Steve lived a simple life and loved the Mahoning Valley.
He leaves a sister Marie Anthony Scarfone of Las Vegas, NV; nephews Anthony Kristin and Frank Dena all of Las Vegas; and great nieces and nephews, Anthony, Gianna, Sienna and Gino.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Professional arrangements are being handled by Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
