POLAND ? Prayers will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Church for Susan Lynn MaLynn rtin, 46, who passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
Susan attended Glen Oak High School and Bowling Green State University, where she studied fashion merchandising. She enjoyed a successful career in fashion and retail sales most notably with Casual Corner.
Susan was happiest when she was with her family and friends, especially her beloved sons. Being a mother was her joy in life. Despite many setbacks, Susan never lost her sense of liveliness and fun and continually brought joy and laughter to those who knew her. She touched many lives with her honesty and compassion. Susan was a beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend and many will feel her loss.
She is survived by her two sons, Dillon Gennaro age 17 and James Gennaro age 16; her parents, James and Dorothy Martin; her sisters, Kim Vari and Heidi Martin; her brother-in-law, Howard Vari; and her niece and nephew, Rachel and Alex Vari.
The family will be receiving friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family has expressed that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Flat Rock Care Center, 7353 County Road 29, Flat Rock, OH 44828.
