BOARDMAN...There will be services at 9 a.m. Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, followed by a mass of Christian burial celebrated at 9:30 AM at St. Dominic Church for Susan Brigid Mahl Williams, who passed away Thursday morning at her residence following a long illness.
She was born in Youngstown, the daughter of George H. and Gertrude Acritelli Mahl.
She was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and Youngstown State University. She had taught grades one through eight for the Diocese of Youngstown for more than 30 years, first at Immaculate Conception and then
at St. Patrick and for the last 23 years, St. Dominic School before retiring. She was also an office for Roncone Photography Studio. While at St. Dom¹s, she enjoyed directing, writing and incorporating Broadway shows into the school¹s Christmas and yearly productions. She was a member of St. Dominic Church and a member and past officer of its Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her husband, Bradley Williams, whom she married May 26, 1989; a sister, Jane and husband Joseph Sainato of Poland; a brother, Joseph
and wife Janet Newcomb of Corpus Christi, Texas; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Elaine Williams of Austintown; and nieces and nephews, Robert and Amy Sainato, Georgia Sainato, Rex and George Newcomb and Kara and Jennifer Williams.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.
