POLAND - Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Thelma J. Jarvis, 66, who passed away Sunday at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Thelma was born Feb. 23, 1944, in Lisbon, the daughter of Jim and Evelyn Dotson Rouse.
Thelma was a 1962 graduate of Salineville High School. Thelma was a home health aid with Home Health Care. She also worked for Dillards and Ames Department Store.
Thelma leaves her three children, Steve Libby Jarvis of Alliance, Rick Sheri Jarvis of Minerva and Debbie Jarvis Chretien of Poland; a brother, Charles Rouse of Florida; two half brothers, David Grimes of Carrolton and Jeff Grimes of Lisbon; and nine grandchildren.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, LeRoy, Ronald and Robert Rouse.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes can take the form of donations to a memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
