BOARDMAN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Church for Theresa M. Andio, 90, who passed away Sunday at Assumption Village.
Theresa was born Sept. 3, 1926, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Louis and Lucy (Marion) Fossaceca.
Theresa was a hospice volunteer for many years.
She was a member and past president of the Women's Auxiliary of the Wolves Club. Theresa was also member of St. Charles Church, where she was a Eucharist minister and involved in many activities there at the church.
Her husband, Anthony M. Andio, whom she married June 7, 1947, passed away Jan. 17, 2008.
Theresa leaves four daughters, Marilou (John) Bertelli of Boardman, Toni (Joe) Speziale of Boardman, Michele (Robert) Kielbas of Chicago and Jennifer (Tim) Frank of North Lima; a sister, Connie Davis of Poland; eight grandchildren, Kristen Fraley, Heidi and Gina Bertelli, Tracie (Chad) Flaum, Sarah, and Joey Speziale, and Cole and Cade Frank; and two great-grandchildren, Carson and Carly Fraley.
Theresa was also preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Louis, and Michael Fossaceca.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, and Thursday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at St. Charles Church.

Theresa's family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Spratt and the staff in the special care unit at Assumption Village for all of the loving care and compassion of their mother.
