Austintown - There will be a Memorial Service Friday at 7 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Thomas Allen Behnke, age 55, who passed away Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Thomas was born August 6, 1951 in Great Lakes, Illinois, a son of William E. and Barbara J. Hughes Behnke.
Thomas was a 1969 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. He loved music and played flute for the bands, "Brain Child" and "Human Beinz", who played during the 70s.. He worked as an Independent Contractor.
Thomas leaves his wife the former Kitty L. Horkey whom he married October 19, 1996; a stepson Jessy Horkey of Youngstown; and a brother John Shelley Behnke of Columbus.
Besides his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by a sister Kristine Levien.
Family and friends may call Friday from 6 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
