SALEM - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Church in Boardman for Thomas M. Driscoll Jr., 55, who passed away Monday, Dec. 31, at home, surrounded by his family.
Born Feb. 27, 1957, in Cleveland, Tom was the son of Thomas Sr. and Marilyn Driscoll.
He attended St. Ignatius High School and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Marquette University in 1979. More recently, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron in 2005.
He married Mary Therese Barrett in 1983. Tom and his family moved to the Youngstown area in 1996.
Tom is survived by his wife; son Thomas M. III and wife Brittany Meyer; daughter Bridgid Cassin and husband Kevin; daughter Caitlin and fiancee Ben Torma; daughters, Erin, Molly, Rosemarie, Mary Grace, Maureen, Caroline, Claire, and Anne; as well as sons James, Daniel and Edward. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Beth, Peggy Timmons and husband Jerry, and Terry Neagoy and husband Alex; as well as brothers Kevin and wife Sharon, Frank, and Jerome and wife Erica.
Tom was a five-time marathoner and avid supporter of the Cardinal Mooney Cross Country Team, as well as a participant in Mahoning County 4-H and a Knight of Columbus.
Friends will be received at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel on Friday, Jan. 4, from 3 to 7 p.m.
