Prayers will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman- Canfield Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church for Thomas L. McCloud, 60, who died Saturday at Hospice House, due to complications from Parkinson's.

Tom was born May 18, 1957, the son of Don "Buster" Claranne (Lyden) McCloud.

Tom was a 1975 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, and later served in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Youngstown State with a degree in Graphic Arts. He served our community as a Boardman firefighter for almost two decades before retiring.

Tom loved to fish and golf, loved Notre Dame and Cleveland sports, and was very patriotic, and will be remembered as not only a patriot, but a great artist.

His wife, the former Denise Dibble, whom he married in 2004 preceded him in death Oct. 11, 2014.

He is survived by his mother, Claranne McCloud of Canfield; a daughter, Mara McCloud of Canfield; a son, Brady McCloud of Canfield; his siblings, Don McCloud Jr. and his children, Dan and Caley McCloud, Patty and Bud Joyce and their children, Ryan Joyce and Katie(Justin) Karzmer and their child Charlotte Clair Karzmer, Megann and Michael Basile and children Lindsay and Kyle Basile and Daniel and Taylor Martin, Marty and his daughter, Rylee McCloud and Brendan and Kristin and children Carly and Jenna McCloud; his aunts, Joan (Gary) Oles, Sally McCloud Devet, Marguerite Bluedorn and Elaine Richards; his special friend, Colleen Cahill; his father-in-law, Ray Dibble ; his sister-in-law, Lynn (Jim) Keeney; and his numerous cousins.

Tom was preceded in death by his father and his wife.

The McCloud family would like to thank Tom's high school classmates for their love and support.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon, Boardman Canfield Chapel Funeral Home, 3701 Starr's Centre Drive Canfield
