NORTH JACKSON - Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Bethel Assembly of God Church for Thomas Eli Nadrich, 85, who passed away Saturday, March 11, surrounded by his loving family.
Thomas was born Jan. 25, 1932, in Youngstown, a son of the late Eli and Catherine (Catcha) Nadrich.
Thomas was an active member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church.
On Nov. 21, 1953, he married the love of his life, the former Dolores Mayoras.
Thomas was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Korean conflict on the USS Markab.
He retired from General Motors after 35 years of service, where he was a member of the U.A.W.
He graduated from South High School, where he excelled in football. He attended Florida State University, having played football there.
He will be cherished and deeply missed by his wife; his children, Thomas (Bonnie) Nadrich of Seattle and Marilyn (Thomas) Carlson of Struthers; his grandchildren, Shawn (Amy) Carlson, Kari (Rick) Fabrizio, Lindsay, Thomas, and Elizabeth Nardich; and six great-grandchildren.
Thomas was also preceded in death by his brother, John Nadrich.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Bethel Assembly of God Church.
