AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Thomas J. Spicker, 48, who passed away Friday evening at Hospice House.
Thomas was born May 17, 1963, in Ashland, a son of Konrad H. and Ella Spicker.
He was a 1981 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Persian Gulf War. He was a self-employed contractor with Blue Jay Communications. He enjoyed carpentry, landscaping and the Cleveland Browns and was an avid NASCAR fan.
His greatest love was for his family and spending time with friends.
Thomas leaves his wife, the former Teresa Gray, whom he married Dec. 24, 1999; his parents, Konrad H. and Ella Spicker of Chandler, Ariz.; three daughters, Danielle Thomas Casey of Austintown, Susan Spicker of Belaire, and Krystina L. Spicker of Austintown; two sons, Billy Valentine of Austintown and Thomas J. Spicker II at home; two sisters, Rose Kovach of Chandler, Ariz., and Anita Matt Spicker of North Jackson; a brother, Erik Shannon Spicker of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Faith, Devin, Brian, Savannah, Emma, and Logan; and his extended family, Earl and Sue Burnside of Austintown.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests material tributes may take the form of donations to assist the family with funeral expenses.
