NORTH JACKSON, OH - Services will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Todd W. Thompson age 38 of North Jackson who died Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center from complications from diabetes.
Todd was born February 22, 1966, in Akron, the son of William L. and Patricia L. Cunningham Thompson.
He served eight years in the U.S. Navy, serving as an aviation Boatswain's Mate. He later graduated from Tri C Business college with a computer applications degree. Todd was a member of the First Federated Church in North Jackson, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife the former Bridget Price whom he married September 24, 2003, his mother Patricia Gary Young, his father William Mary Thompson all of Akron, a step daughter Erin Keich, and step son Edward Keich at home, three sisters, Tammy Mark Stewart of Doyelstown, OH, Trisha Phil Chrovak of Silver Lake, OH, and Tara Bryan Thomas of Akron, his grandfather William Hazel Thompson of Akron, and nine nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5 PM to 8 PM Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
A committal service with military honors has been scheduled for 2:30 PM Tuesday at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
