AUSTINTOWN-Services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of West Austintown on the corner of Mahoning Ave., and Turner Rd. for Todd J. Winner age 43 of Austintown who died Sunday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Hospitals Emergency Room after a four month illness with cancer.
Todd was born August 25, 1961, in Warren, the son of Delmar J. and Betty L. Burton Winner.
A 1979 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School he served in the U.S. Navy on Nuclear Submarines as a mechanical nuclear technician. In 1992 he graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He had worked as a foreman for the EASCO Aluminum Corp, and later as a foreman at EXCEL extrusions, and was a member of the church.
He is survived by his wife the former Gail Valliere whom he married August 3, 1989, his mother and father Delmar and Betty Winner of Austintown, three daughters, Ashley Winner of Liberty, and Amanda and Kristi Winner at home, a son Brandon Winner, a sister Lou Ann and husband Sam Hammond, a brother Earl A. and wife Rosanne Winner all of Austintown, and thirteen nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to services Thursday morning at the Church.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to The Fairhaven School in Niles in Todd's Memory.
