YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, for Trudell Baney, 81, who passed away Saturday at Park Vista with her family by her side.
Trudell was born Oct. 19, 1932, in Cherrytree, Pa., a daughter of the late Otto and Mary Lydic.
Trudell was employed at Stambaugh Auditorium for 30 years, retiring in 1995. She also worked for Micon Inc. for 10 years. She was a member of the Mahoning Valley Old Car Club.
Trudell always attended her grandchildren's sporting events and enjoyed playing slot machines. Her family was very special to her.
Trudell leaves her husband, Leroy A. Baney, whom she married Feb. 23, 1952; her daughters, LuAnn (Terry) Knittle of Canfield; and Jean (Jerry) Helt of New Middletown; and two grandchildren, Gary (Jessica) Knittle and son Camden and Larry (Jessica) Knittle.
Trudell was preceded in death by her sister, June Hall.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
