Uletine Shutrump

January 10, 1931 — November 10, 2006

North Lima - Services will be Wednesday at 9:30 AM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Boardman-Canfield Chapel and at 10 AM at St. Christine Church for Uletine "Mickie" Shutrump, 75, formerly of Fairway Dr., who passed away Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

She was born January 10, 1931, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a daughter of Lawrence and Agnes Reilly Portman.

She attended Nazareth Academy and Catholic University in Washington D.C.. She volunteered with Sister Jerome Cocheran at Outreach Ministries. She continued her support at the Millcreeek Center. Her and her husband supported Catholic Charities.

Her husband John Paul Shutrump Sr. whom she married Feb. 16, 1953 passed away June 10, 2000.

She is survived by seven children Yvonne John Moore of Boardman, John Paul Shutrump Jr. of Austintown Laurel Paul Campbell of Washington, PA., Maureen John Bartolo of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jeffrey Cindy Shutrump of Chula Vista, California, M. Celeste Patrick McConnell of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Colleen Lynn Shutrump of Indianapolis, Indiana; eight grandchildren Kristopher, Kaitlin, J. Joshua, Jeremy, Sarah, J. Joseph, Emily, and Molly; two great grandchildren Joshua Paul and James Ryan; a sister Yvonne Graydon of Clearwater, FLA; and two brothers Jim Hammerschmidt of Cable, Wisc and Larry Portman of Petaluma, Cali.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contributions take the form of donation to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street, Boardman Ohio 44512.
