Veronica Reali Scott, 86

AUSTINTOWN - There will be funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8,
at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Veronica Reali
Scott, 86, who died Wednesday at the Briarfield at Ashley.
Veronica was born March 21, 1921 in Alliance, to the late Fred and Mary
Desimone Reali, and moved to the Youngstown area when as a child.
She was a cook with Mr. Anthony¹s for more than 20 years before retiring in
2000.
Veronica is survived by two daughters, Marie McCauley of Austintown and
Carolyn Pat Fay of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Mary Jo McCauley,
Cathy Joe Ruscitti, and Pat Fay Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Hannah
and Joseph Ruscitti.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Scott,
who died Nov. 21, 1999; two sisters, Minnie Procick and Leona Johns; and
three brothers, Ben, Bill, and Fred Reali.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 7, and from 9:30 to 10:30
a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
Those who wish may contribute to the Alzheimer¹s Association or to the
Hospice of their choice.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Briarfield for their
courteous and loving care shown to Veronica.
