AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will begin Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Christine Church for Vicki L. Warner, 70, who died suddenly Saturday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center after a brief illness.
Vicki was born July 19, 1946, in Bluffton, Ind., the daughter of Wayne and Margaret "Peg" (Jamison) Wiley. She moved to this area in 1982.
She was a 1964 graduate of Southport High School in Indiana and later attended business school for two years.
Vicki worked in the banking industry for several financial institutions in numerous positions before retiring. After her retirement, she enjoyed the passion of her life, watching and caring for her grandchildren. She also had a great love for animals.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Joel T. Warner, whom she married Nov. 9, 1968; two daughters, Jennifer (Paul) Lonsway of Canfield and Jessica L. (Lee) Stanley of North Jackson; a son, Brian Warner and his fianceé, Adriana Arellano of San Diego; six grandchildren, Adrian Paul Warner, Taylor Rae Lonsway, and Vaun, Osten and Gavin Stanley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Simon Joseph Lonsway; and a sister, Dixie Conlon.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
