CANFIELD - Private funeral services were held on June 2, 2011, for Viola K. Estock, 89, who died at home on May 31, 2011.
Viola was born to George Hvizdak and Catherine Hudzik Hvizdak on Nov. 12, 1921, one of seven children.
She was a graduate of South High School Class of 1940 and Youngstown State University, a member of St. Christine Church, and Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Her husband, Stephen, whom she married in 1941, passed away May 22, 1962.
She was a teacher in the Youngstown School System until her retirement in 1987.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Keish and brothers, George and Ed Hvizdak; two brothers, William and Joseph Hvizdak; a daughter, Kathryn Taylor of San Francisco; two sons, Stephen and Tim Patty, both of Canfield; granddaughters, Jennifer Derek Lang, Katherine and Stephanie Estock; and twin great-granddaughters, Ainsley and Kendall Lang.
The Estock family would like to thank the Canfield Joint Fire District and their first responders for their service and professionalism.
