Virginia Mancini

June 8, 1930 — February 24, 2006

AUSTINTOWN - Services will be Monday at 9:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Virginia F. "Ginny" Mancini age 75 of Austintown who passed away early Friday morning at Omni Manor Care Center.

Ginny was born June 8, 1930, in Youngstown the daughter of Stephen and Anna Kurjan Koker.

She was a 1948 graduate of Chaney High School, and had worked at Ohio Bell for five years as a switch board operator. She later worked Mr. B's Catering for over 20 years. She was a charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and an avid Bingo player.

She is survived by her husband Howard J. Mancini Sr. whom she married April 21, 1951, four sons Howard Jr. Linda Mancini of Canfield, Richard of Bonita Springs, FLA., Robert of Austintown, and Ronald of Canfield, two sisters, Eleanor Joe Melago of Austintown, and Carolyn Bob Stricko of Austintown, two step sisters, Fran Hopkinson of Youngstown, and Dorothy Joe Joseph of Columbus, a step brother Richard Kay Karas of Austintown, two grandchildren, Angelica, and Nicholas Mancini, and a great granddaughter Mia Grau.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her step mother Mary Koker, a sister Dorothy Klempay, and a brother Raymond Koker.

Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.

The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Forum Health Hospice at Home 1915 Belmont Ave. Youngstown, Ohio 44504
