AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church for Virginia M. Williams, 79, who passed away Saturday morning at Hospice House.
Virginia was born April 9, 1929 in Passaic, N.J., the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Jean M. Reed Dusko.
Virginia was a 1947 graduate of South High School and a top sales person for Caroline Emmons Jewelry. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and their choir. When her sons were younger, she was a Sunday school teacher. She was an outstanding artist, making drawings and working with ceramics.
Virginia had a love for animals, especially tigers and cats. Her greatest love was for her family and spending time with her two grandsons. She will be deeply missed.
Her husband, Paul J. Williams, whom she married Oct. 3, 1953, passed away Sept. 30, 2004.
Virginia leaves her two sons, Dave Kathy Williams of Sacramento, Calif., and Mark Debra Williams of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two grandsons, Jacob and Alex Williams; and a sister, Patricia Johnson of Boardman.
Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel and Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.
