Youngstown - There will be services at 10 AM Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Walter Millan, 93, who passed awat early Saturday Morning at Omni Manor Care Center.
Walter was born March 8, 1913 in Poland, Europe, the son of Anthony and Margaret Millan.
He served in the Polish Army during WWII and later came to this country in 1956.
He worked as a security guard at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center for more than 15 years before retiring in 1978.
Mr. Millan is survivedby his wife, the former Ernesteen Strickland, whom he married Oct. 5 1976, and two brothers-in-law Mark and CarlStrickland of Youngstown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard Millan.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM today at the funeral home.
