BOARDMAN - A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Struthers Church of Christ, 5775 Poland-Struthers Road, Poland, for Mr. Warren Bair, who died Saturday morning at Omni Manor.

He was born July 28, 1932, in Punxsutawney, Pa., a son of Raymond and Cora White Bair.

Warren had attended a one room school house until eighth grade and then went to work on his family farm. He moved to this area when he was an adult.

Warren was an Army Reserve veteran, and had worked at Commercial Intertech on Logan Avenue, retiring in April of 1995.

He was a very active man in the church and had helped with the church's Northeastern Ohio Christian Youth Camp. Warren was a loving husband, father and a doting grandfather, who loved working in his yard, enjoyed reading and was a Bible toting man.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Claudia Bokesch, whom he married Sept. 3, 1983; a daughter, Diana David Toohey of Maryland; four sons, Sidney L. Bair of Butler, Pa., Kevin L. Bair of Dayton, Dennis Bair of Virginia, and Chip Amber Muntean of Akron; a sister, Edith Snyder of Punxsutawney; sister-in-law Imogene Bair of Punxsutawney; six grandchildren, Jeffrey and Patrick Bair, Adia and Joshua Muntean, and Matthew and Dylan Toohey; and one great-grandson, Logan Bair.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Pauline Prokay, Olive Fetterman, and Frances Pierce; and his brothers, Wayne, Mervin, Wilbur and Raymond Jr. Bair.

Friends may call Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
