Austintown- Wayne W. Wiley, age 92, of Austintown, died Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by his family.
Wayne was born Aprill 22, 1915 in Bluffton, Indiana to the late Charles H. and Nellie B. Allen Wiley.
He was employed by the Hoosier Grain and Supply with 26 years of service, he then worked another 17 years for the Central Soya Company in Indianapolis as a warehouse manager retiring in 1977.
He was a member of Canfield Christian Church, Bluffton Kiwanis, Moose Lodge, and Bluffton Country Club; he attained Life member status with the Elks Lodge, and the Masonic Lodge #145 in Bluffton.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Dixie Lee Conlon, a brother Lee Wiley, and a sister, Lucile Snider.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, the former Margaret "Peg" Jamison, whom he married August 23, 1938; a daughter, Vicki Joel Warner of Austintown; five grandchildren, Kevin Conlon, Chris Debbie Conlon, Brian Warner, Jennifer J. Paul Lonsway, and Jessica Warner; two great grandchildren Haylan and Holden Conlon; a sister Mildred Reynolds of Bluffton, IN.
Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9pm. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10am in the funeral home.
Friends may also call Friday from 7-9pm at the Thoma-Rich Funeral Home, Bluffton, Indiana. Burial will take place Saturday in Elm Grove Cemetery.
