Wendell Patterson

YOUNGSTOWN - Wendell "Rick" R. Patterson, 58, died early Tuesday morning at home, surrounded by his family.
Wendell, affectionately known as Rick, was born June 4, 1958, in Sharon, Pa., the son of Plem E. and Aloise (Pinkl) Patterson.
Rick owned and operated R&R Auto Body for 27 years. He truly loved his job and had a passion for cars. In his spare time, Rick enjoyed restoring antique cars and trucks.
Rick is survived by his wife, Tracy (Pittman) Patterson, whom he married Sept. 28, 1991; his mother, Aloise Paterson of Jamestown, Pa.; three sons, Shane Paterson, James Carr of Youngstown, and Michael (Emily) Carr of Poland; two brothers, Harry (Phyllis) Paterson and Plem (Connie) Paterson, both of Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren, Ethan Battle-Carr and Elliana Carr, whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father.
