Willard "Willy" Thomas Tucker, 67, of Youngstown, died suddenly on August 25, 2017, at 6:45 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, following a brief illness. Will was born on July 22, 1950 in Salem, the son of the Robert L. and Esther (Householder) Tucker.
Will proudly enlisted in the United Sates Army, serving his country during the Vietnam War. Will worked for 41, years as a rail road conductor, retiring in 2010 from Norfolk and Southern Railroads. His free time was spending riding his motorcycle. He belonged to the Harley and Honda bike clubs, and made the Rolling Thunder bike run every year to Washington DC to support all the veterans. Riding motorcycles was Will's passion and a way of life.
Beside his mother, Will is survived by the love of his life and best friend, his wife Jamie (Colwes) Tucker, whom he married on December 7, 1993. His children; Angie (JD) Mackall, of New Waterford, Amanda (Earl) Bell, of New Waterford, Michael (Shelia) Kosmo, of Youngstown, Andrew (Angela) Kosmo, of Youngstown, Amy Kosmo, of Struthers, ten grandchildren; Mackenzie, Riely, Aubrey, Brayden, Kaeleen, Gia, Eric, Nathan, Maddie, Zander, and one great grandchild, Aalyiah. He is also survived by a sister, Kathy (Phillip) Dyer, of Youngstown.
Will was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 11:00 am at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, 2726 Center Road, Poland. Family and friends may call, Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home, and on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Lake Park Cemetery.
