Youngstown. . . . Services will be Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and 11:00 Am in Holy Name Of Jesus Church, Youngstown for Mr. William ?Billy? A. Klenner, age 63 of Youngstown who died Sunday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Medical Center after a year long battle with cancer.
He was born May 31, 1941 in Youngstown, a son of Henry J. Klenner and Jean Probyn Klenner Megla .
Billy was a 1959 graduate of Boardman High school where he played football, and was an Army veteran. He was employed by Republic Steel as a mill worker in the glass furnace; he worked many years in the Cleveland area in the Fastener Sales industries then moving to Largo, Florida where he worked as a maintenance and groundskeeper manager at Indian Rock Travel Park and then at the Shangrila Apt. complex and moved back to this area last year. He was a sport enthusiast, loved golfing, gardening and horse racing.
Billy is the loving father of Michele Kerrigan of Fairview Park, Ohio, Lisa Michael McCaffrey of Westlake, Ohio and William A.Sheila Jr. of Canton; dearest brother of Susan Cue of Youngstown, Karen Langley with whom he made his home, HenryJeanne Klenner and Robert Diane both of Florida; dearest grandfather of Amanda, Lauren, Paige, Erin, Nicholas and Michael and his former wife Helene.
He was preceded in death by his brother George.
