LIBERTY - Prayers will begin Thursday morning at 9:15 a.m. at the
Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel followed by a Mass of
Christian Burial Celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Rose Church in Girard for
William J. Reardon, 59, who died suddenly Sunday afternoon at his home of an
apparent heart attack.
Bill was born April 28, 1953, in Youngstown, the son of William J. and Joan
V. (Harrison) Reardon.
He was a 1971 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and later graduated
from the University of Notre Dame in 1975. Mr. Reardon had a long career in
the Real Estate Industry, first working for the DeBartolo Corporation, Simon
Property Group, and currently as Senior Leasing Representative for the
Cafaro Company.
Bill was a member of St. Rose Church and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He
loved to work in his yard and spend time with family. He will be remembered
for his generosity, amiable personality, and great sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, the former Karen P. Moran, whom he married Aug.
20, 1976; a daughter, Bridget (Nick) Terracina of Girard; a son, William J.
Reardon of Liberty; grandchildren, Patrick and Nuala Terracina; two sisters,
Colleen (Dr. Edward) Novosel of Liberty and Judith (Britt) Greene of Poland;
three brothers, Dennis (Lisa) Reardon of Poland, Terry (Judy) Reardon of
Boardman and Atty. Timothy (Suzie) Reardon of Canfield; and a
brother-in-law, Daniel Schiavone Sr. of Boardman.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Meghan
Reardon; and a sister, Deborah Schiavone.
Friends may call Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral
Homes, Austintown Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations
to the Touched by Nathan Foundation at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
