LAKE MILTON - Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, North Jackson Chapel for Wilma A. Evans, 72, who passed away Saturday morning at Vibra Hospital in Boardman.
Wilma was born Dec. 17, 1938, in Youngstown, the daughter of Wilbur H. and Viola Langdon Hudson Sr.
Wilma was a cook for Charles Court Nursing Home in Newton Falls. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in North Jackson. She enjoyed music, dancing, word puzzles and talking with family and friends.
Wilma leaves her four daughters, Vickie Jimmie Shaffer of Newton Falls, Donna Hudson of Rootstown, Nancy Mark Johnson of Newton Falls and Mary Evans of Ravenna; three sons, Tom Cheryl Hudson of Glendale Ariz., John Evans of Lake Milton and Malccolm Cindy Evans of Streetsboro; two sisters, Carol Brown of Austintown and Doris Jack Johnson of Umitilla, Fla.; a brother, David Nancy Hudson of Youngstown; 23 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Fae Evans; a son, Gerald Evans; and two brothers, Wilbur H. Hudson Jr. and Robert Langdon.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
