YOUNGSTOWN - Private funeral services were held for Yvonne Person Zellers, 82, formerly of North Cadillac Drive in Boardman, who passed away Sunday Dec. 5, 2010 at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Yvonne was born July 10, 1928, in Youngstown to the late Herbert P. and Yvonne Adele Chabut Person.
She was a 1946 graduate of South High School. Yvonne received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown College in 1950. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Sigma, Delta Epsilon, and Gamma Sigma, where she served as Historian. She was also a member of Who?s Who in American Colleges and Universities.
Yvonne was an Accountant at Hill & Hammonds, C.P.A. For many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Yvonne is survived by her son, Dr. Gordon Lee Apryle Zellers of Medina; her sister and brother-in-law, Bonita Person Schoessel and William M. Schoessel Jr. of Alexandria, Va.; and faithful friend, David Neutrelle of Lowellville.
Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Arrangements were handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
